Healthy Meal suggestions for China King

Either I was very hungry the first time I ordered here, or they've gone downhill over a short period of time. I've ordered here a few times now, and the only acceptable dish seems to be their Singapore noodles. Lemon chicken is basically chewy nuggets with a thin lemon syrup on the side, horrible. All the chicken dishes that I tried involving fried chicken are basically chewy and beyond bland. Today, I ordered hunan beef, mixed vegetables with tofu and pork with broccoli. It was a joke! I got 3 of the same vegetable dishes, 1 with some slices of beef, 1 with some tofu and 1 with some slices of pork! In addition, the mixed vegetables had so much more tofu before. I won't be ordering food from China King anymore. I'll take my money elsewhere and pay a bit more for better, cause this is a complete joke!

Brutal. Chicken tasted like it was in fryer for a week, egg rolls soggy. Everyone complained, considering it was a free dinner, that is suprising. Pick somewhere else.

Maybe we caught a bad day but this was the worst General Tso's we've had in a long time. Very heavy breading and taste was weird. On the upside good spring rolls and ok lo mien. Probably wont go back.

What the heck did i just eat? Ever wonder why you never see stray cats anywhere near a Chinese restaurant? Well, that's because they're on the menu at this place.

They USED to be great, their food quality has gotten a lot worse in my 3 years of coming here. Everything here is inconsistent. Lastly, they arent very intellegent, and clearly dont know how to close their take out containers properly, and the floor of my car is the proof of that. I now have wonton soup all over. I swore to myself today, that I will never ever eat their food again, and I dont think you should either.

I order from here about twice a month. The food is fresh and made quickly, like Dave H said, 10 minutes means 10 minutes. If you're hungry for Chinese food in the KoP area this is your best bet. Good Hot and Sour Soup. Singapore Mei Fun is also very tasty.

Been ordering at this place for YEARS. It's definitely western Chinese, but it's soooo good! I don't eat rice, pasta, or the like, so I can only attest that their curry is good, as are their fu yung dishes and Chinese Vegetables!

Calling China King on a Monday morning, we ordered for a veritable feast - lunch specials, combination plates, quarts of hot and sour soup, you name it. When we asked how long the wait would be, they replied "10 minutes". Hardcore. True to their word, when we arrived, there were several bags full of Americanized Chinese goodness. I requested a few containers of hot oil, and soda to go. Everything we had was good, we all had food comas, and I'd return again.

Okay, in between Football and Phillies this past Saturday I had a hankering for Chinese and wanted it simple and quick so I ordered again from China King. All it did was just reinforce why I think it's the WORST chinese food in King of Prussia and some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had, period. Ordered Fried Dumplings which were enormous disgusting fists of dough with a little bit of strange tasting filling, they were the worst dumplings I've ever had. Sweet and Sour pork, the red sauce was a sickly sweet sugar overdose (no trace of sour), the Pork was just okay, though far too doughy. Also ordered Pork fried rice and what I really got was Onion Fried Rice. There was a little bit of Pork (but not much) but my god, I like Onions but this was ridiculous. Sure it was done in 10 minutes and it was very hot, but that doesn't make up for how bad it tasted. Sorry, I just think it is funny that people put that in their reviews, like that really makes a difference. Name me a Chinese Take-out place on the face of the earth that doesn't tell you "TEN MINUTE" wheh you call in the order!! Anyway, I prefer my food to taste good over how fast I get it. Yea, the food tasted like crap but it was fast and hot!!! LOL I think I've eaten China King for the last time.

The lunch specials here are pretty cheap plus you get them fast and hot...really hot. Good place for a quick fix if you're in the mood for chinese. Most likely, you'll end up with a little leftover for a late-night snack.

My wife and I order from here about once a month, and we don't order Chinese from anywhere else in the area. The fried rice is great, as are all the meats. The most surprising thing is the tofu chicken is really really tasty, and has a good texture. The delivery people are always prompt, and friendly. The only downside is occasionally some of the order takers on the phone make us order a certain amount and others don't. I just wish it were consistent one way or another.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
